How to Use the Graphgan Planner
For When Your Brain Says “No More Maths”
Designing your own graphgan is one of the most rewarding things you can do in crochet.
But before you can dive into the fun part, you need a solid plan. That’s where this free printable graphgan planner worksheet comes in.
Start With A Swatch
All you need to get started is a swatch. Simply measure how many stitches and rows you get over 10 cm (or 4 inches), then fill in your desired width and height. The worksheet will guide you through the rest, helping you translate your gauge into accurate project dimensions. It’s a great tool for custom graphgan designs or just double-checking your math before committing to a big project.
Everything In One Place
There’s also space to track your yarn choices, color palette, hook size, and any notes you want to remember as you go. That might include ideas for borders, stitch tweaks, or the date you started the project. Keeping everything in one place makes it much easier to stay organized.
