Spooky season is here so it’s time for a roundup of my favourite Halloween crochet patterns! Whether you’re looking for a crochet project to complete your Halloween costume or some fun decorations for the home, I’ve got you covered. You may remember that I did one of these round-ups last year so, if you can’t find a pattern you like in this list, be sure to take a look at Top 10 Halloween Crochet Patterns. The Bewitching Amigurumi Sloth featured in that post is still one of my favourite patterns!

Christmas is also only a few months away and my Christmas-obsessed partner is already asking what gifts he can get for me. Last year I got him a Flaming Licks hot sauce subscription box from Cratejoy which went down a storm! Each box he received contained 3 different hot sauces and a spicy snack, making it the perfect gift for chilli lovers. He absolutely loved having these boxes turn up on the doorstep each month. This year I’ll be asking for my own subscription box and of course, it’s got to be crochet related! I’ve got my eye on the Southern Skeins Sock Yarn Box. Southern Skeins creates beautiful hand-dyed yarn at their studio in Florida. When subscribing to their sock yarn box you receive limited edition hand-dyed yarn and extra goodies right to your doorstep every month. Each box contains the following:
• 100-gram skein of hand-dyed sock yarn
• Coordinating 20-gram mini skein
• A Teabag
• Stitch marker/progress keeper
• Monthly surprise bonus gift!
• Most months also include a knit or crochet pattern
All yarns included in these boxes are limited edition, which means subscribing to the sock yarn box is the only way to get your hands on them! All of this for $23.99 + plus free shipping to the US is a great deal and the reviews for this box are all very positive so I can’t wait to try it out and start crocheting with this amazing yarn. Subscription boxes make wonderful, unique gifts so if you’re stuck on what to buy for a loved one this Christmas, check out Cratejoy! They have a huge range of subscription boxes – you can find a box for just about any hobby or interest!
