It’s just over a month until Halloween which means its the perfect time to start crocheting some spooky decorations! I’ve got plenty of Halloween themed patterns coming over the next few weeks with everything from todays pumpkin coasters to bunting and amigurumi. We’re starting off with the easiest of the Halloween decor patterns; these super simple pumpkin coasters. They will take you no time at all to make and add a pop of autumn colour to your home.
To make these I’ve used DK weight yarn, although I’m sure heavier weights could work too (your coasters will be a little larger though). You only need orange and brown yarn and you’ll only use a small amount so it’s a good project for using up leftover yarn. You’ll also need a 4mm hook and a yarn needle to sew the pieces together and weave in ends.
