This year I’m releasing four new Christmas crochet patterns and the first is this Reindeer Amigurumi. This one along with a Polar Bear amigurumi will be free here on my blog. The other two will be paid patterns but, I will be giving away both of the full patterns during my black Friday sale (23rd-29th November), you can keep up to date with that by following my Instagram or subscribing to our newsletter. All four of these Christmas crochet patterns will make wonderful decorations for the festive season.

To make this reindeer amigurumi you’ll need to use DK weight yarn and a 3.5mm hook. The 4 colours of yarn you will need are light brown, dark brown, black and red. You’re also going to need some crafting wire or pipe cleaners – these will be used to give the antlers their shape. The eyes I have used are The Craft Factory Toy Eyes Solid Black – 9mm but if you prefer you can use some black yarn to embroider the eyes.

Assembly
For a step-by-step photo guide to assembling your crochet reindeer be sure to check out the full pattern HERE.
Use a yarn needle to sew all the parts together. I would recommend starting by adding the eyes, ears, antlers and nose to the head. Then sew the legs, head and tail onto the body.
