Today I’m sharing with you the final Halloween crochet pattern I designed -a vampire amigurumi. Just like last weeks Frankenstein crochet pattern it’s another amigurumi pattern. As you can see these two have similar designs and are made in almost the same way. To crochet your vampire amigurumi, you’re going to need DK weight yarn in four colours; black, white, lilac and red. I’ve used Stylecraft Special DK but you can use any brand of yarn. You’ll need to use a 3mm hook, a yarn needle and stuffing. Finally, I have used The Craft Factory Toy Eyes- 6mm but if you don’t want to use plastic eyes you may sew some on with black yarn.

Assembly
Begin by sewing the hair directly on top of the head. Now you need to add the face details. You’ll need black and white yarn for the mouth which is made with one long horizontal black stitch and two smaller white stitches for the teeth. Add the eyes or stitch some on if you’re not using plastic eyes. Then, attach the head to the top of the body and the arms on either side of the body.
Now you’ll need to add the cape. To do so cut some black yarn and use a yarn needle to thread it through either end of the second row of the cape. You can then put the cape around the neck and make a knot. Finally, sew the bowtie on top of where you made the knot.
